Loaded with a fresh BFA in Photography from RISD, I arrived in New York City and started a career in photojournalism. 

I was on the pre-launch team that created the New York Observer and I went to The New York Times where the editors wanted me to continue shooting Street Photographs - where art and journalism met almost every day.
